Municipal Council believe it is important to support our creative community and purchase local art work with the intention to display this work at public spaces associated with the Municipality. The program will also promote the profile of local artists and artisans to the public with personal interpretive information associated with the art displays.

Purchases will be conducted in the fall of every year. The total annual budget is $2500. This could include more than one item. Each piece will be purchased at current market value.
  The call for submissions has now commenced, deadline for submissions is January 31, 2023. Each submission will be reviewed by a jury committee. Please see supporting documents below. For more information please email:
