until 12:00 noon (local time) Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Tenders must be cleared marked TENDER FOR PURCHASE

Sucessful bidders will be notified on March 6, 2024
Tenders are to be enclosed in an envelope clearly marked Tender for purchase of Tax Sale Property and inlude the assessment number,
amount of bid, name and address of bidder and telephone number where the bidder can be contacted.
One Tender form per Assessment number must be submitted

The Municipality reserves the right to:

1. Reject any or all tenders
2. Not accept the highest tender
3. Accept any tender deemed to be in the best interests of Municipality
The persons whose tender is accepted shall pay the tender price by certified funds within three business days after being notified of
the acceptance. If the successful bidder does not pay within three days the award will go to that next highest bidder. The deed will be
prepared after the six month redemption period and the purchaser will be notified for pickup.
Terms of Sale: CASH (Interac, Visa, MasterCard), Certified Cheque or Lawyer's Trust Cheque.

* There will be $100.00 collected to record the certificate of sale for non-land registered properties or $157.50 collected for land registered properties.
* There will be $172.50 collected for deed preparation. It will be the purchasers responsibility to Register the deed with the deeds office.
* Although the Municipality has made all reasonable efforts to confirm ownership, it does not guarantee title or boundaries of
the aforementioned properties. Prospective purchasers are responsible to conduct their own searches and surveys or other
investigations.
