Fire Safety regulations and Inspections are required by the province through the Fire Safety Act and are carried out by the Municipal/Town Fire Inspector.
Fire Inspections required by the Provincial Fire Safety Act are carried out in the Municipality and Town by Chris Thibodeau, Certified Fire Inspector Level 1.
Inspections are required for commercial buildings such as liquor establishments, restaurants, apartment buildings having more than 3 units. Also Churches, retail stores and any assembly type buildings.
