NOTICE OF APPROVAL
Amendment to the Land Use By-Laws
TAKE NOTICE that on February 24, 2026 the Council of the Municipality of the District of Digby passed a motion to make amendments to their Land Use By-laws regarding the maximum setback for commercial wind turbines. These amendments will affect the primary Land Use By-law as well as the secondary Wellfield Protection Area Land Use By-law. In addition, the Council of the Municipality passed a motion to make amendments to their primary Land Use By-law regarding the 5-meter riparian setback and the mapping for Schedule A3 - Urban Development Area Zoning, Mount Pleasant
A copy of the amendments can be inspected at the Municipal Office located at 12548 Highway 217, Seabrook, Nova Scotia, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
AND TAKE NOTICE that any aggrieved person, the Director of Planning, or the Council of any adjoining municipality, may, within fourteen (14) days of the publication of this notice, appeal the decision of the Council to the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board.
