The members of the Municipal Council appointed to the Joint RCMP Advisory Board are:

• Linda Gregory, Warden
• Matthew Ross, Deputy Warden

The citizen members appointed by the Municipal Council are:

• Position to be filled March 2025
• Position to be filled March 2025

The Joint RCMP Advisory Board advises the Municipality of Digby and the Town of Digby in relation to the enforcement of the law, the maintenance of law and order, and the prevention of crime in the area. Its role is to:

• Determine, in consultation with Councils, priorities, objectives and goals respecting police services in the two municipalities.
• Act as a liaison between the community and the local RCMP detachment.

The Joint RCMP Advisory Board consists of the local RCMP Staff Sgt., staff, as well as two elected officials and two citizen members from each municipal unit. The Board meets on a quarterly basis.
