The Highway 101 Taskforce has been re-established to advocate for the completion of Highway 101 between Marshalltown and Weymouth.
Comprised of municipal leaders from the municipalities of Digby, Clare, and Yarmouth, along with the Town of Digby and the Town of Yarmouth, the Taskforce is working collaboratively to encourage continued provincial investment in this critical transportation corridor.
The completion of Highway 101 is essential to improving public safety, strengthening regional connectivity, supporting economic development, and ensuring reliable access for residents, businesses, visitors, and emergency services throughout Southwest Nova Scotia.
The documents below provide information on the Taskforce's advocacy efforts, including its inaugural press release and the first joint letter submitted to the Province of Nova Scotia.
